Background
Two beautiful orangery settings in Cheltenham were in need of a heating solution; The Garden Bar and Pittville Pump Room. Located in Imperial Gardens, alongside Cheltenham Town Hall, The Garden Bar and restaurant is a stunning orangery known for it’s specialty coffee, beer and pizza, that also hosts live music and events. Similarly, the Heritage Deco Cafe is a stylish all-weather space that overlooks picturesque Pittville Park. Due to the nature of an orangery, when there’s less sun it can become a colder environment, so the owners were looking for an effective solution that wouldn’t harm their modern and stylish aesthetic, but still keep their customers warm.
Solution
Herschel Summit 2.6kW heaters in black were specified by the installer for both of the orangeries as they’re powerful, zero-light infrared heaters that can be ceiling mounted from the orangery framework. The Summit heaters create an effective yet entirely discreet solution, so as to keep the customers warm but not distract them in any way. Infrared heating provides a simple to install, flexible to control solution for management allowing them to maintain a consistently warm space for visitors, no matter the weather, within which they can enjoy a few drinks and some live music.
Testimonial
“We’ve installed your heaters in 2 orangeries in Cheltenham, one at the Town Hall and one at the Pump Rooms and the management and customers think they look and work great”.
