This international standard defines how the radiant performance of electric room heaters is measured, to define whether they can call themselves “Infrared”. Certification to IEC 60675-3:2020 confirms that a product delivers at least 40% of its rated power as measurable radiant (as opposed to convective or conductive) output.
Herschel’s Comfort range of heaters is presently the only infrared panel heaters on the market that have been tested to this standard, certifying their high level of radiant efficiency.
