Our Herschel Comfort portable infrared heating panel has been designed with sustainability, comfort and performance in mind to deliver the most efficient and eco-friendly infrared panel on the market. Manufactured and assembled in our new UK production facility using British and European materials, every design detail has been considered, combining Herschel’s pioneering technology and unrivalled infrared experience.
Available in three sizes, 420W, 600W, and 850W, our Comfort Portable Infrared Panel Heaters offer the ultimate hassle-free heating solution. The combination of unmatched comfort, superior efficiency, and Herschel’s innovative Swift Comfort Plus (SCP) system delivers a simple and effective infrared heating experience like no other. SCP combines our latest technologies to improve efficiency by delivering a higher proportion of infrared heat into the room and a faster warm-up experience. SCP includes our new high performance, long life German made heating element which heats up to higher temperatures extremely quickly from startup and delivers an optimum spread of heat across the surface of the panel. Both panel sizes come standard with a 120V 3-pin plug meaning there is no need for professional installation.
This is a frameless panel made from a powder-coated steel emitting surface and incorporates our highly efficient long-life heating element. A combination of high quality, UK made insulation material and a specially treated radiant reflective stainless steel back panel reduces rearward heat loss by over 20%. All panels are designed and built to last a lifetime and each panel is quality inspected and fully tested as part of ISO9001 quality control procedures. Complete with a 10-year warranty and our Premium Feet, panels are manufactured for a 120 Volt power supply and designed to produce the optimum output of far infrared.
Comfort portable panels come with feet for portable use. They also come with our easy-fit brackets allowing you to wall or ceiling mount them should you wish to install them at a later date. When wall or ceiling mounted, you have the option to plug the units into a standard 120V mains outlet or opt for professional installation allowing for thermostatic control via the Herschel JC1 mains powered thermostat (sold separately). Full App control is available when used with JC1.
The heated areas are a guide only and assume a medium to well insulated space with an average floor to ceiling height of 95 inches. If room heights are greater or there are other building factors to consider then please Contact Herschel, or contact your dealer directly so that a more detailed assessment can be carried out.

Herschel iQ JC1 Wired Thermostat
The Herschel iQ JC1 Wired Thermostat was designed for both comfort and convenience. Featuring a vibrant 3.5″ color touchscreen display, the JC1 is not only simple to operate but also a stylish addition to any room. The JC1 wired thermostat also features live weather updates on the display.
The JC1 wired thermostat can be controlled remotely using the WARRME App on your phone or tablet. The JC1 is also compatible with Smart Life for optimal convenience. The App-control also enabled controls of your heating by voice using Alexa or Google Assistant.
The JC1 thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The JC1 is easy to operate and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.
JC1 has a locking feature to prevent unauthorized tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. The JC1 is a 15 Amp thermostat enabling up to 3.6 kW of Herschel heaters to be connected.
Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. *Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.

Really pleased with our portable “Inspire” heater which is working efficiently and providing dedicated warmth in the little “office” off our kitchen. This is a small but cold room with 3 outside walls, a high ceiling and a tiled floor – making it difficult to heat in winter. The infrared heater effectively warms up the person sitting at the desk. We are really pleased with it and would thoroughly recommend.

Herschel are just tops, especially when we can use them with our 24 panel solar array and six batteries in the garage for evening warmth. In recent days, we’ve had too much generation. But how will get on with the cold spell coming up? No problem! We will live within what we can generate by careful housekeeping, not going crazy and, lagging ourselves with layers if we need extra warmth. We are nearly off grid thanks to Herschel and PV!
