The Herschel iQ RM1 Wired Thermostat is a fixed, wall-mounted thermostat ideal for controlling Infrared Panel Heaters where you want the power cables to be neatly hidden behind the walls or plasterboard. The control is fully UL & CSA approved for domestic and commercial use.

When used in conjunction with your wifi network and the Smart Life app, RM1 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, enabling you to manage your heating when you are away from the building. The Smart Life App also enables control of your heating by voice using Alexa or Google Assistant.

RM1 is wired directly to the mains circuit and the heaters and handles both 120V and 240V loads to a maximum of 15 Amps.

The RM1 thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The RM1 is easy to operate, features a large backlit digital display, and incorporates Open Window detection and Energy Monitoring.

RM1 has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorized tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties.

Please note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.
