Available in two sizes, 400W and 750W, our Inspire Portable Infrared Panel Heaters offer the ultimate hassle-free heating solution. The combination of unmatched comfort, superior efficiency, and the highest quality heating elements from Germany delivers a simple and effective infrared heating experience like no other. Both panel sizes come standard with a 120V 3-pin plug meaning there is no need for professional installation.
This is a frameless panel made from a powder-coated aluminum emitting surface and incorporates our highly efficient long-life heating element. All panels are designed and built to last a lifetime and each panel is quality inspected and fully tested as part of ISO9001 quality control procedures. Complete with a 10-year warranty and our premium Inspire Feet, panels are manufactured for a 120 Volt power supply and designed to produce the optimum output of far infrared.
Inspire is one of the longest-running ranges in the market and cannot be beaten for quality. Customers who purchase Inspire choose this range because they want a tried and tested heating system that lasts a lifetime, is maintenance-free, and looks great in any setting. The range is tested by TUV Rheinland to GS electrical and product safety standards and is fabricated and assembled in Britain.
Inspire portable panels come with feet for portable use. They also come with our easy-fit brackets allowing you to wall or ceiling mount them should you wish to install them at a later date. When wall or ceiling mounted, you have the option to plug the units into a standard 120V mains outlet or opt for professional installation allowing for thermostatic control via the Herschel MD2 mains powered thermostat (sold separately). Full App control is available when used with MD2.
The heated areas are a guide only and assume a medium to well insulated space with an average floor to ceiling height of 95 inches. If room heights are greater or there are other building factors to consider then please Contact Herschel, or contact your dealer directly so that a more detailed assessment can be carried out.

Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat
The Herschel iQ MD2 Wired Thermostat is ideal for new builds/renovations where cabling can be neatly hidden whether it be for domestic or commercial applications. When used in conjunction with your wifi network and the SmartLife app, MD2 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, enabling you to manage your heating when you are away from the building. The SmartLife App also enables control of your heating by voice using Alexa or Google Assistant.
MD2 is wired directly to the mains circuit and the heaters. All MD2 orders include both a plastic surface mount backbox and a metal recessed back box.
The MD2 thermostat will operate your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MD2 is easy to operate, features a large digital touchscreen display, and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology.
MD2 has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorized tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. The MD2 is a 16 amp thermostat enabling up to 3.6 kW of Herschel heaters to be connected.
Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. *Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.

Really pleased with our portable “Inspire” heater which is working efficiently and providing dedicated warmth in the little “office” off our kitchen. This is a small but cold room with 3 outside walls, a high ceiling and a tiled floor – making it difficult to heat in winter. The infrared heater effectively warms up the person sitting at the desk. We are really pleased with it and would thoroughly recommend.

The portable heater was just what I was after to take the edge off my cold office. I didn’t want something that baked me, so the gentle heat from this infrared heater did just the trick. It was straightforward to add the feet and plug the heater in. It is great that i can also wall or ceilign mount in the future if i want to.

Herschel are just tops, especially when we can use them with our 24 panel solar array and six batteries in the garage for evening warmth. In recent days, we’ve had too much generation. But how will get on with the cold spell coming up? No problem! We will live within what we can generate by careful housekeeping, not going crazy and, lagging ourselves with layers if we need extra warmth. We are nearly off grid thanks to Herschel and PV!
