Description
Our Comfort ceiling panels are designed to fit in either the 24×24″ (420W) or the 24×48″ (850W) ceiling grid tile spaces, offering a practical and space-saving heating option in shops, schools, hospitals and many other commercial spaces. Our Comfort infrared panel heater for ceiling tiles is fabricated and assembled in Britain to exacting standards using the highest quality German heating elements. This is a frameless panel made from a powder-coated steel emitting surface and incorporates our highly efficient long-life heating element. All panels are designed and built to last a lifetime and each panel is quality inspected and fully tested as part of quality control procedures. Complete with a 10-year warranty, panels are manufactured for either 120 Volts or 240 Volts power supply and designed to produce the optimum output of far infrared. The 420W panels can be fitted into 24 x 24″ ceiling grid tile spaces and the 850W panels can be fitted into the larger (Armstrong) 24 x 48″ tile spaces. The Comfort ceiling tile is also available in a choice of 2 colour finishes, white or black.
The Comfort Ceiling Tile heater comes with threaded inserts (blind rivnuts) to use with safety wires (not included) for use in the ceiling grid or ceiling-suspended. The Comfort infrared ceiling tile heater is intended for installation in a ceiling grid space only, or wire-suspended, and cannot be surface-mounted on a ceiling. For surface-mounting panels on a ceiling, please use the Comfort white panels.
Featuring Herschel’s innovative Swift Comfort Plus system, the Comfort ceiling tile heaters offer a faster warm-up experience and improved efficiency. Swift Comfort Plus includes our new high performance, long life German made heating element which heats up to higher temperatures extremely quickly from startup and delivers an optimum spread of heat across the surface of the panel.
Comfort panels are designed for professional installation only and must be controlled with our Herschel JC1 mains powered thermostat (sold separately). Full App control is available when used with JC1.
The heated areas are a guide only and assume a medium to well-insulated space with an average floor to ceiling height of 95 inches. If room heights are greater or there are other building factors to consider then please Contact Herschel, or contact your dealer directly so that a more detailed assessment can be carried out.
